I am a life long painter and was born in Nanjing, China. I began my painting practice as a very young child. I always drew on a small note pad while other kids played.
Drawing and painting are my passional artistic journal. Every time I drew, I was in my conform zone where I was in my wonderland with a collections of happy memory, magical images. Sometime, people did not understand or recognize what were I did, because I never just paint what I saw, I painted or drew what was inside of my mind.
After I moved to New York City 2001, the whole new visual world was open to me. I felt much more freedom to express my ideas in different new ways. I met famous abstract painter Alan Van Every, my mentor and great teacher, in artist party accidentally in 2002. Under his guiding, I became more mature and confidence in painting of contemporary style. I transforms vista familiar into stunning interpretation of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotion images.
From 2002-2004, I took painting classes at The Student League of New York and The National Academy Museum and school to explore the modern and contemporary arts.
Over past ten years, I have been exhibited various international art exhibitions and my art works had been represented by many art institutions, corporations as well as public and private collections.
